Imagine being able to make things happen and get everything you want and need.
According to James Goi Jr., we already have the tools necessary to create what we want or need.
In “The Supernatural Power of Thought,” he states that everything is supernatural (meaning any force or occurrence that is beyond the average person’s understanding of material reality or the laws of nature) and the human foundation of supernatural power is within the mind.
We should start by fully understanding that everything is consciousness and energy. Even the things that we can see are consciousness and energy. Once we fully understand this, we will be able to exert or express consciousness and energy however we choose.
It is in our mind that we start the process of creating our reality. Everything we are experiencing now started in our minds. Our mind is the cause and what we see on the outside is the effect. But we have to remember that we are simply perceiving what seems to be.
In order to get what we want and need, we have to know what we want, that we can get what we want, and have patience in getting what we want. James Goi says that the key elements are thought, feeling, intention, planning, envisioning, contemplation, understanding, work, and exercising free will.
One of the only things that we do not need to worry about is how we will get what we want or need. The means of attaining something is where “The Supernatural Power of Thought” goes to work.
Using the key elements listed above, we can use the power of the mind to move things in the material world. Similar to the wind having the ability to move things even though we can’t see it, the power of our mind is there even though we cannot perceive it. James Goi reiterates here that we need to know what we want in order to get started. We should also remember that focusing on what we don’t want, will bring that very thing to us. The act of considering and deciding puts mind power into motion.
Every thought has an effect at some point. This effect could be huge or so small that you can not perceive it. Our energy resonates and always causes some effect.
I had to stop and ponder this concept, but I think I am gaining a deeper understanding as time goes on.
